Little Paytie

Here is another picture I took from today. Usually I can download them all at the same time but since lightening struck our house my computer has been acting really crazy. Here is little miss Paytie sitting by the sink while I was cleaning some veggies for lunch. She likes to sit and play in the water. (I am always right by her) After I get done cooking dinner I have to change her clothes because she has gotten herself wet from head to toe. I used to get mad b/c I would have to change her again, but now I just let her have fun. Anything that has to do with water and babies will put a smile on her face!! :)

I am so excited my computer let me download more pics. I can't believe it!! Here are the other pics that I took today after we got home from church. We were playing outside while Matt grilled out steaks for fajitas and grilled chicken for salad. We are going to try to start eating healthier. We have been eating out tooo much lately. I have to admit that eating out is so much fun and it is pretty nice not having to clean up a dirty kitchen!!! :) I can't help thinking how blessed I am. I have the best husband in the world and the sweetest daughter ever!!!! We will all be upstairs in the gameroom and Paytie will come lie down next to Matt and I. She will not stay there for long, but she wants to give us kisses and hugs. I feel so special when she leanes over and gives me a kiss. It's like someone just gave me a million dollars!!!

Here are some pics I took earlier today. I have tried four times today to download pics and I finally got 2 pictures to work. Hopefully I can continue to download more later. It is 12:35a.m. and I cannot sleep. This weekend I have learned a lot of things. #1. Life is sooo short. God has put us on this earth to love Him and serve Him. #2. Things of this world do NOT matter one bit. Things that do matter are family and living a life that pleases the Lord. Please be praying for my neighbor and her two little boys. The husband died Sat. morning. She is not doing well. It's a really long story and I think most of you know what has been going on, but they need lots of prayer!!! #3. I am so selfish. Matt and I watched The Pursuit of Happyness on Saturday night and we both agreed that we need to start giving more!!!! If you have not seen this movie, I reccommend it!!!! Will Smith is a great actor and plays a man who is extremely poor trying to raise his little boy.... he doesn't make but $200 a month and is trying to get a job at Dean Witter. well, I guess you will have to watch the rest. :) On a lighter note.... life is good. I have so much to say but don't even have the slightest clue on where to begin. Payten is growing up tooooo fast. She has such a personality. Her favorite thing right now is playing with her babies and being a little mommy. She burps her babies, feeds her babies, changes her babies, and of course rocks her babies. If we see a baby or even a baby stroller she yells "BABY"!!!!!!! It is pretty funny because she is still a baby herself. Well, she will always be my little baby. She says lots of words now and is talking more and more. She loves to sing and dance. Tonight we had music playing and she was dancing all over the place. Her new word is giraffe. I can't believe it.... we were walking by a stuffed giraffe in the nursery today and she started pointing and saying "raffe, graffe"!!! I always point and tell her what it is and today she pointed it out to me and wanted to go and pet it. She was sick this past week and had a 103.5 temperature. That was pretty scary for me, but everything ended up being fine. We are soo excited to come back to Oklahoma in less than 2 weeks. I can't belive it has already been 3 months. We are excited visit with friends and family!!!! Payten loves to point out airplanes that fly by so I know she is going to have a blast riding in one I just hope she can sit still for that long!! :)

Brooke and Jan came to visit us!!!! We are having too much fun. Tonight we went and ate at Rockfish. (Really good seafood...) And then we had cheesecake for dessert! Yummy!!! Tomorrow we are going to go shopping and probably eat some more good food. Brooke is due in a couple months so it has been awesome feeling the baby move around. She looks super cute!! :) Paytie is enjoying hanging out with her Grammy and Auntie....they are sooo good to her! Well we will post some more pics later.

I got a job!

I am soooo mad right now. I have just tried to send a new post twice and each time my computer shuts down. I have some really cute pics so I guess I will try again tomorrow. Long story but we had a HUGE storm come through and our house was hit my lightening. Everything went black and some of the tiles around our fireplace cracked because of the pressure!!! Crazy, I know!!!! We had to get a new modem for the comuter and our security system completly shut down so they are coming to fix it tomorrow. Payten and I were hanging out in the study watching the storm and then all of a sudden lightening struck and I have never in my life heard anything so loud. I heard something cracking so I ran into the living room and saw that tile in front of the fireplace was completly shattered!!!!! SO CRAZY! Glad its over. Storms here are sooo loud. Not fun!! I got a new job! I am now a floor trainer at a gym near my house. I am just below a certified personal trainer. I have clients but I don't get paid as much as they do. Darn!! :) I am planning on getting certified soon. I teach people how to use the equipment properly and educate people on different weight lifting exercises. People can come up to me and ask me what they can do to work out this muscle or ask advise on fitness plans... I LOVE IT! I work 20 hours a week and Paytie is in the room next to the wellness center. I usually peek in and see what she is up to every once in a while. I just found out tonight that I am going to start teaching the Ab Lab class two nights a week. I am nervous because I have never taught a fitness class before. Once I get my certification I can start teaching all different aerobics classes. It will be so much fun! I am always at the gym now. You can't teach an ab class without having good abs, right?? :) Yep, I am either at the gym or home with my Matty and Paytie! I really like my hours too. I still feel like I am home and can spend lots of quality time with my family. Well, I have lots more to say, but unfortunately it all got deleted when my computer shut down!!! I hate computers! Life is wonderful. I love living in Texas. I have made lots of great friends too! I go to Bible study on Tuesday morning, so I run around with a couple girls from that class and then we also go to Sunday School so I have met some really nice girls in that class as well. The neighborhood I live in has a women's get together once a month and this month we are going to eat and play Bunko. My whole neighborhood consists of young people with kids so we fit in pretty good!!! :) So I have also made some good friends in my neighborhood. Some of us are starting a neighborhood scrapbooking club. Anyway, thats whats been going on in my life. I will write more tomorrow! Talk to you later.

A Great Day!!!

Today was my birthday and I had a wonderful day. It started off Matt woke me up to Shipley's Donuts. (He is soo sweet!!) They are soooo good!!!!! We got ready and we went to buy bikes. We have been wanting them for a long time and finally decided to get them. And we knew that Paytie would love riding around too. Tonight we took Payten to Itty Bitty City and Matt and I went to P.F. Chang's for dinner. It was sooo good and I got free desert at the end too. We had a fun time and I am so full right now. We love our baby girl so much, but let me tell you eating just the two of us is sooo lovely sometimes!!!! We actually got to enjoy our food and have an adult conversation. Yaaa!!! We went back and picked up our little girl and went home and rode around the neighborhood with our new bikes. It was kinda cold so we didn't ride for long. Well, I will type more later.... Matt is fixing to give me my birthday massage and we are going to watch Monster-in-Law. Have I mentioned that I have the best husband in the world???? I LOVE massages and he told me that tonight would be an extra special massage!! haha Thanks everyone for calling me and emailing me cute internet cards. I love friends and family!!!!!
