Family Outing!!!

Today we had our first family outing to the ocean!! We went to the Kema Boardwalk by Galveston. The weather was perfect today and the ocean was sooooo pretty! It was the first time Paytie has ever seen the ocean and let me tell you, she loved it!!! All she could talk about was the water and the birds that were flying around. She points and yells, "bir...bir". (She doesn't put the d sound on the end of the word.) We ate dinner at Saltgrass and had an ocean front view. Then we walked around the pier and ate Marble Slab ice cream. There was a band playing so the atmosphere was really nice. On the way home we got to drive by Nasa. It was pretty neat looking. I tried to talk Matt into moving closer to the ocean so Paytie and I could play in the water all day, but he didn't think it was too good of an idea. :) Daddy and Payten were racing on the pier. She thought that was the funnest thing ever. I must say my daughter is a really fast runner!!!! :) She runs everywhere she goes. I just keep praying that she doesn't fall and bang up her knees! She only knows one speed!!! Payten was not too fond of this shark. She was holding onto me for dear life!! :)

My Favorite Sisters!!!!!!

I just have to say that I am so blessed to have two great sister-in-laws. Growing up I always wanted a sister and prayed that one day I would get one and God blessed me with not one sister, but two!!!!! Love you girs lots!

Easter Weekend!!!

My beautiful Granny who I love very much!!! Paytie LOVES her cousin Hailey. They played together all day on Sunday. Payten loves to give kisses!! That could be a potential problem in the future!! haha My mom got Payten a bubble machine for Easter. It is the cutest thing and Payten loves bubbles. That is by far her favorite word to say. So all day she was shouting, "bubbles,bubbles, bubbles." It was pretty cute! My poor mom was pooped and I made her take a picture... She made the best food for lunch!!! Fish and lots of other good stuff. I ate way toooo much, but I don't get to be spoiled by her cooking now that I live lots and lots of miles away. So when I do come home, I plan on eating. Oh ya, and Jan made amazing Meat Balls on Friday night along with a delicious pie!!!!! I think I gained a few pounds over the weekend. Oh well, it was definitely worth it!!! :)

Friday night we colored Easter eggs. She seemed interested for a few minutes, but like usual got distracted and went on to something else. :) I think us big kids enjoyed it more than the little Paytie. Easter 2007 Family Picture
