Here is my little guy clapping his hands after I fed him lunch. It has been a long time since I have updated my blog, so I am hoping to get some more videos and pics up throughout the day. Life is wonderful....my kiddos are such sweet hearts. Brayden turned 8 months old a few days ago. The day after he turned 8 months he decided to crawl for the first time and then he is also getting his two front bottom teeth. I told him the other day that he is not allowed to grow up on me. I love this age and he is such a good boy. He sleeps great, he plays so well with his sissy, he loves to cuddle and I LOVE his laugh and smile. Payten starts preschool again next week! This summer has flown by so fast....and I am not ready for Payten to start school again in two weeks. This summer has been really relaxing....we have gone to the pool a lot and spent lots of time playing on the trampoline.

Payten got her ears pierced!

My little princess got her ears pierced last week when we went to the mall with some friends. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen and then let the kids play. Payten has been talking about getting her ears pierced for quite some time, but Matt and I wanted to wait until she got a little older. When we were at the mall we walked into Claire's and another little girl was getting her ears done, so of course Payten started begging me to let her do it. I called daddy and he okayed it so now she finally has her ears pierced. She loves it!!! And we clean them three times a day and she always reminds me to clean them. She is on top of things. When she was getting her ears pierced she didn't even cry. It didn't phase her in the least. The lady that was doing them was really experienced and said that most girls her age cry... but not Paytie girl! She did such a good job and since getting her ears pierced she has quit sucking her thumb! That was part of the deal and to my surprise she has held up her end of the bargain. Good job Payten!! :)
