Sweet Prayers

I'm BACK! Yes, it has been 3 months or more since I have blogged but let's be honest....the end of this past year was CRAZY! I have so much to blog about and so many pictures to post but for tonight I will start with my kids prayers from this evening. Every night we say our prayers and we always start with a song... "God our Father, God our Father, We thank you! We thank you....for our many blessings, for our many blessings...Amen, amen!" The kids have been singing it for a couple years now. We learned the song from Payten's preschool class and one day we just started saying it at home and it stuck. After we sing the song I pray and then the kids follow. Tonight Payten's prayer went like this and it melted my heart. {Dear Heavenly Father, We thank you for this day, we pray that you will keep us healthy, keep us strong, keep us healthy, please do not let us get sick...we pray that you will help us to get a good nights rest. Thank you for this day. Amen} It was all about us not getting sick since I had the stomach bug a couple days ago. hahaha Brayden's prayer went like this, {Dear Jesus, thank you for this day Jesus. Thank you for Bananas (his lovey), thank you for my dot wuwie (that is how he says lovey and this is another lovey...he has 3! He calls it a dot wuwie because it has polka dots around the edges...haha) Thank you for my big wuwie (this is his 3rd lovey and it is a big blue blanket)....please help us not to throw up...(hahaha) thank you for Nala, thank you for Chloe, thank you for Mommy and Daddy and Payten. AMEN}..... "YAY"!!!!!! He says at the end clapping his hands. I try to remember their prayers every night because they say the sweetest and funniest things....I have been doing so much photography lately, I am kinda thinking about only taking 2 sessions a week and then that way I will have more time to blog and take more pics of my babies. It seems like since I am behind the camera a lot of the time on the weekends, I don't take as many pics of the kids, although I am sure I take more than most. LOL Anyway, Happy New Year and hoping everyone has a blessed weekend! I hope to start adding a lot of pics of the end of last year to get completely caught up. Oh and I just printed my blog into a hard back book. I am SUPER excited to sit down with the kids in the evenings and start reading them stories starting all the way back to Jan. 2007. :) YAY!
