Pool Time

The kids have been LOVING going to the pool almost everyday this summer. These pics were taken the second trip to the pool and we have gone quite a few times since then. Of course Payten loves swimming and playing at the pool and so does her little brother! The first time he went he wasn't so sure of the water... maybe he was tired, I don't know. But since then he LOVES the water just like Payten. He has floaties on and he doesn't really want you to hold him in the water. He likes to just float around right next to us. It's pretty funny! He is getting really brave and likes to jump in off the side of the pool. Yep, both Payten and Brayden are half fish. :) Payten really likes to play dolphin in the water. When we are in the big pool she pretends and will jump and swim around. This past time we went to the pool, it was just me and the kids and she wanted me and Brayden to be dolphins too, so for a few minutes we were all dolphins swimming in the water. She is so cute and I love her creative imagination! Matt and I really enjoy spending time with the kids at the pool. The water park by our house has a few slides too. Last year, Payten wasn't tall enough, but this year she is exactly the height to be able to go down them. (42 inches tall) She goes down the slides a hundred times and Matt and I take turns going down them with her. They are actually pretty fun! We have to take turns going from the big pool to the kiddie area. The kiddie area has a frog slide and fountains. You can see below in one of the pics that occasionally Brayden likes to drink the water. :) We are so blessed to be able to have so much fun and have these nice pools by our house. Enjoy the pics.
