Fun on the trampoline

Payten LOVES her trampoline that she got for her birthday. Every day she goes outside and jumps and every evening we go outside once it cools down. Payten and I enjoy playing games on the trampoline...we play ring around the posie and we play chase and the blanket game. :) I know for a fact that this was the best present ever! It is so cute to see her jumping on it. She has learned some new tricks: how to jump up and then land on her knees and then back onto her feet! She is pretty talented. haha She is such an active little girl and loves to be outside playing. She is such a cutie pie. Below are some pics of Payten the other night....we were jumping and then Matt came around the corner and sprayed us with the water hose. Payten thought it was hilarious and I thought the water was freezing! haha Well, once we were wet, we decided to let Daddy spray the trampoline down and it became a slip and slide. It was super fun. After about 30 minutes it was time for bath time, but Payten was not too happy about having to go inside, so I went inside and got her soap. I gave her a bath on the trampoline and she was running around without any clothes on and drenched in soap. It was sooo cute, but I didn't want to post any of those pics on the blog. I figured I would just write about it..... anyway, we had a blast!

4th of July in Oklahoma

Here are some pics of our trip back to Oklahoma for the 4th of July. This picture of Brayden was taken on the drive from Texas. He was so happy in the car and never really fussed the entire time. He played with his toys and when he did get a little tired I sat back there and just talked to him. Payten watched two movies on the way to OK. She watched Fox and the Hound and The Wild. After watching a couple movies she decided she was tired and napped for a couple hours. She is also super amazing in the car and has always been the best traveler. I thought this was pretty cute. She likes to put the blanket over her head. Maybe to block the sun....don't know! While sitting in the back with Brayden I decided to take a picture of Matt driving. Isn't he cute?I sure think so!  :) To start the trip off we met my parents at Incredible Pizza. Payten  had so much fun. We ate lots of pizza and Payten played games with my dad. While I ate my food, mom held Brayden and he slept for an hour. I think she enjoyed the cuddle time! :) Payten and Papa went and rode the race cars. They one first place and Payten was really excited about it! The majority of our trip was spent at Grand Lake! We had such a great time. We got to watch an amazing fire works show and hang out with lots of fun people. And did I mention really good food. Mike and Jan cooked awesome steaks for everyone. And one night we had homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream. We got to go out on a huge boat and just hang out while Mike and Jan kept all the kiddos. That was really relaxing!!!!! Below are some pics of the trip. Brooke and Colin brought sparklers for the kids. Payten didn't know what to think about the fire she was holding. After a while she started waving it in the air. She thought the sparklers were pretty cool. Here are Payten and Daddy watching the amazing fireworks show. As you can see Payten really enjoyed herself!!! The finale lasted about 15 minutes...seriously. It was amazing. Little Brayden decided he didn't want to sleep and so I got him up and he watched the fireworks show too. He wasn't scared at all. The whole time he just stared at the sky. I think he was in awe of the fireworks.  Here are some pics of Brayden, Kennedi and Cole playing together. He loves to laugh at them. While I was busy getting ready I took some pics of them playing. I'm sure glad that Kennedi was there because he loves to laugh at her. He thinks she is pretty cute!  :) The morning of Payten's birthday we were at Mike and Jan's house. We woke up and went downstairs and Jan had fixed some caramel cinnamon rolls. We put some candles in one and sang her Happy Birthday. ) She loves for everyone to sing to her! haha After we left Mike and Jan's we headed to my grandparents house for another birthday celebration. We ate pizza and mom made her a cake. Mom made her a minnie mouse cake....we won't talk about what it looked like, but it sure was delicious! haha :) Hailey came over and Payten was super excited about hanging out with her. They had lots of fun together and Payten looks up to her so much. She loves her cousin Hailey.  "Bu Brad" came over and hung out for a little while. He got on the floor and played with her most of the time he was there. Payten loves playing with him. Bradley, you need to hurry up and get married so you can have kiddos.You are going to make the best dad one day!

Happy 4th Birthday Payten!

Happy 4th Birthday Payten Mackenzie! I can't believe that she turned four a couple days ago. To celebrate we had birthday party for her last weekend. It was a pancake and pajama Minnie Mouse party. She had a blast!!! My mom came down and helped me....she was in charge of the minnie mouse shaped pancakes. They were really yummy and the kids got to decorate them with chocolate chips. We also had a donut eating contest. That was pretty funny to watch. The kids had to put their hands behind their backs and eat the donut until it fell off of the string. After that we let the kids jump on the trampoline and then swim in the pool and run around in the sprinklers. Overall it went really well and Payten had so much fun with all her friends. She got tons of fun presents too. She got lots and lots of art supplies and My Little Ponies. (Her favorite!!!!) The pictures are out of order b/c my computer kept messing up, but enjoy them anyway. :)
