Happy Valentine's Day

Our family had a wonderful Valentine's Day! We started celebrating a couple days before due to Payten's school party. The party was only for the kids so I didn't get to go but I took some pics of Payten doing her morning check in and morning work. She loves school! She has so much fun and her school is the BEST! She has learned sooo much this year. Anyway, Matt and I celebrated Valentine's by going to New Orleans and going to Mardi Gras. Wow.......that was an experience. My parents flew down to take care of the kids while we were away for 2 nights. The kids had a blast. Mom and Dad took them to Kema and Galveston. There was a Mardi Gras parade in Galveston that day so Payten got to catch some beads. She loved it and to put it lightly the kid has a HUGE bucket of beads. Not only the ones that she got at the parade but all the ones that Matt and I brought back from New Orleans. It was great to get away for a couple days and to spend time just us two, but we sure did miss our sweet kiddos!

Brayden LOVES the fish tank at church. He gets so excited and just sits there and stares at all the fish. It is so sad when I have to pull him away. He gets so mad at me. :) I work at the church a couple times a week and if he has been in his classroom for a long time I will get him out and let him rome around the nursery. The second I let him down he takes off for the fish tank. It's pretty cute! :) At school all the kids wrote something that they love and if you look closely Payten wrote that she loves MOMMY! Awwww......melts my heart. Sometimes when I pick her up from school she will look at me and say, "mommy, I thought about you today and I missed you." I love her so much. She has such a precious little heart.....sometimes. haha :) Every morning they have their morning check in question.....and they have to find there name and I read her the question and she has to decide on four different answers and mark which one she likes the best. She also has a phrase she has to read back to me....their passwords as she calls it. :) Here are some attempts that I tried to get the kids together in a picture. Hahahaha SO NOT happening. :) I just look at these pics and can't help but laugh. Brayden is playing keep away with his lovey. He loves that game. He things he is so funny. He will try and give me his lovey and then take of running or well walking really fast. :) He also loves to play peek a boo with his lovey. Both kids have loved their little blankets and have loved to play games with them! :)

Christmas with the H's 2009

WOW! This is finally the last Christmas post. How embarrasing. It is Feb. 2010. Oh well, at least I got it done and now I can move on to Valentine's Day and then today we took the kids to the zoo and I got a lot of really good pics. We had such a great time with my parents during Christmas! We did lots of fun things and ate a lot of good food! The pics share it all! Enjoy and thanks everyone for a great and blessed Christmas. We love you all. :)

Christmas with the P's 2009

WOW! I can't believe I am just now getting to finishing up my Christmas pics and it is Feb. 2010. I have so many pics to post and so little time. Having two little ones running around here keeps me busy ALL the time. :) We had a great time visiting and staying with Matt's family for Christmas. It is always so much fun! Jan made us an AWESOME Christmas dinner....homemade spaghetti and meatballs. They were amazing. There is never a dull moment with all the little kiddos running around Mike and Jan's house. Payten and Brayden had such a great time playing with Kennedi, Cole and looking at baby Kerrington. :) Oh and how did I forget the snow! LOTS of snow. Christmas Eve the snow started and the next day the guys had to get up early and shovel snow for hours out of the driveway so we could make it to my parents house for Christmas morning. More pics to come hopefully later today. :)
