Brayden's Dedication & Payten's Carnival

Brayden was dedicated to the Lord this past Sunday at church. There were over 50 babies presented in front of the church. We all walked up in a line and they announced each of the babies and their parents. My mom came and she was in charge of videoing and then taking some pictures. So...our church is HUGE. Anyway, we told her to just sit somewhere. We had no idea where we would be standing so there was no way to tell her where a good place to sit would be. As we are walking in and as we take our place at the front of the church I look right in front of me and there is my mom taking pictures and videoing! I couldn't believe it. It worked out perfectly. God is good and everyday He confirms to me that even though He is a BIG God, He still hears our prayers for even the small things in life! :)

Thanks Mom for coming down and being a part of Brayden's special day and helping us with the garage sale. Once again I don't know how we came up with so much junk to sale! :) We love you.
Our other kiddo.....Kitty Nala. I thought this was a cute picture of her. She is such a good girl and loves to hang out with us all the time.
Here are Payten and Brayden sleeping in our bed. I thought they looked so precious and I kinda think they are starting to look alike....they usually fall alseep in our bed and then Matt and I move them to their beds before we go to sleep. Matt and I laugh sometimes when we look in our bed and between us is Payten and Brayden and then in between Matt's legs is kitty girl. We joke around saying why did we buy a big house....all we need is a one bedroom condo! haha
Payten's school carnival was last weekend and Brad, Erin, Charlie and Avery went with us. I actually downloaded more pictures but somehow they got deleted when I started typing on the blog. Who knows?? Anyway, we had a fun time and I know the girls had a blast. After the carnival we went and ate wings and then Payten had her first sleep over. Avery got to spend the night with us and they had way too much fun. They were still wide awake at 1:30am and I finally got the to get in bed at 2am!!!!!!!!! And then they woke up early the next day and played all day. I will post some more pics later that got deleted. Payten is begging me to go ride her bike and play outside. It has been raining for two days so she is itching to get outside and I am ready to take the kids for a run.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! We decided to got to the noon service today at our church since I have to work Easter morning. It was a good service. We took communion and the sermon was really interesting. It was about about the theives on the cross and all about what Jesus did for us. He was completly 100% without sin and took on all the sins of this world....because He knew that we were forever be indebted to our sins....therefore because of what He did we have abundant life. I am so glad I serve a risen and living savior! Thank you Jesus for the price you paid for me and my family. We love you and we want to serve you all the days our our life!

My little sugar bug is four months old today! WOW. I can't believe it and doesn't he look cute in his sweater vest?? After church I decided to take him in the backyard to get a couple pics and I was happy with the turnout. I love his smile. He has the huge, open mouth smile just like Payten did. I was hoping to get pics of Payten too, but she was already running around the house naked....have I mentioned she loves to run around naked now? The second she walks in the door from being somewhere she will take off all her clothes and run wild. Sometimes I wonder about her!!! haha
This is his serious look. He has many serious looks.....and I wonder where he gets it from?? Hmmm..... daddy!!!!!
Oh the story about her Easter dress. Man alive.....by the time we finally picked this dress out and got it on her I was about to let her wear whatever she wanted...but I wasn't giving in. She was going to where it and like it! So last week we went to Dillards to let her pick out a dress. Well of course the ones she wanted were the most expensive ones and I wasn't going to spend $60 on an Eater dress. So I picked out two choices and she despised them both. She said she didn't like the straps on one and the other one she didn't like the flower in the middle! Did I mention she is very particular? Anyway, we left the mall without a dress. So yesterday I picked her up from preschool and we went to Katy Mills Mall and the last store we went too had this dress. I loved it and so did she. It's a size 5...that's all they had, but I actually think it fits her pretty well. Okay moving on....this morning we are all getting ready. We give her a bath and she puts the dress on and is excited about it. We are almost ready to walk out the door and she comes in the bedroom with this her cherry dress. WHAT!!!! She changed!!!! This dress is completly casual....bright blue with red cherries...She moves on to tell me she has decided to where this to church today....and the battle begins! I was going to win this battle so I took off her dress and she is screaming, kicking and acting totally out of control.....I told her she is going to put her Easter dress on and like it. And as you can see I won the battle.
Payten had her school Easter party on Thurday, so Brayden and I joined her. It was a lot of fun. She loves to see us at her school and she loves to show off with all her friends. Before the party she hunted Easter eggs outside. You were only allowed to find 12 eggs and somehow she ended up with about 20 eggs, so we had to hide a few for the other kids in her class. :) She made herself an ice cream sundae with m&m's, gummie bears, oreos, chocolate syrup and whip cream. Completly healthy! She loved it and actually shared a bite with me. After eating the sundaes they broke hollow eggs over each other heads that had confetti in them. She had a blast.
Today we played outside all day. The neighborhood kids got together and had a water balloon fight. Girls vs. boys. Payten really enjoyed herself and enjoyed hanging out with the big kids. They used to leave her out when she was littlier but now they include her in most things. She is a big girl now and can carry on conversations pretty well. It is really sweet to see her have lots of friends. She is a precious girl.

What's New with the Pregler's (part 2)

Okay, so I know I have been an extremely bad blogger lately....but cut me some slack! Life with two kids leaves mommy little or no time for blog updates, hot bubble baths or things like painting your toe nails, etc...haha Brayden will be 4 months this Friday. Time goes by so fast. I am enjoying every second of life with Pay and Bray because I know before long they will be all grown up. Last night was the first time Brayden slept in his crib all night. Matt has been trying to get me to put him in his crib for about a month now, but I know that him sleeping in his crib is another step to him becoming a big boy....and I am not ready for him to be a big boy yet. :) He has been waking up about three times in the middle of the night to eat and usually I feed him but last night I just stuck the pacifier in his mouth and he would fall right back asleep for a few hours and then wake up again. I guess he is in a growth spurt. We have been giving him organic oatmeal this past week. I think he likes it....not sure yet. Sometimes he will attack the spoon like he is starving and then other times I have to pry his mouth open...but overall he is doing pretty well. As you can see in these pics he is a wonderful little boy.....happy about 90% of the time. I could not ask for better children. I am a total believer in prayer! Everyday while I was pregnant with him I prayed for a happy, joyful easy going little boy and he is every bit happy, joyful and easy going!!!!

He loves to chew on his fingers. He likes the binky when he is tired but most of the time he is content with nothing in his mouth or his fingers. :)
I had to post this pic. Lately Payten is obsessed with her hair being long. She will wet her hair and walk around all day talking about how her hair is getting so long. After she gets out of the bath tub she will just stare in the mirror at her hair and she will brush it to the sides of her face. It is pretty funny to watch her stare at herself. :)
Here is Payten walking in to school yesterday and she wanted to push Brayden....Does anyone notice anything different in this picture????? Yes, we have had a breakthrough. Payten let me put her hair in pig tails and it looked soo cute! I was soooo happy.
Here is my new love.....the B.O.B. double jogging stroller. I LOVE IT! It is totally amazing and extremely easy to push. It doesn't even feel like I am pushing two kids. Hopefully I can get my rear in gear and start running everyday. I have no excuses. :)
After I got dones running/walking last night, Brayden was still wide eyed and Payten was fast alseep. She is usually exhausted after school and riding around in this thing put her right to sleep.
Payten and daddy at the Museum of Natural Science. We had two birthday parties this past Saturday so here are a few pics of Payten and her very best friends.
Payten, Claire and Layla....these are her friends from preschool. Ms. Gaynel and Ms. Kirsty (Payten's teachers) tell me that these little girls are her trouble makers. haha Not really...but she tells me that they talk in class and hang out together all the time.
Payten got to touch this lizard and a huge snake. I was completly shocked that she wasn't scared....because I know that I was kinda freaked out!!!
I thought this picture was so sweet. Matt took off last Friday and here are the boys just looking at each other. Brayden loves his daddy and he likes to look at him. Brayden is really getting used to being on his tummy. We have let him cry it out a couple times and then he gets over it. He starts fake coughing....it's pretty funny.
We planted flowers and mulched the flower beds and we found a huge worm. Payten played with it for about two hours and the poor worm died a horrible death. haha She carried that thing around her the whole time. She gave it a bath and dried it off with paper towel. She took good care of it and when I told her that it was dead....she was in complete denial. She told me that it was taking a nap. The minds of three year olds!!! :)
