POWER UP!

Every year the weekend of Halloween our church does a VBS Super Hero concert and the past two years Payten counts down the days until she gets to go and see them. The Super Heroes are from our churches VBS. She is almost obsessed with them. We have both years dvd's and I have all the songs downloaded to my iphone. She even has the poster hanging in her room....behind her door! We used to listen to the songs every morning and "Power Up" for the day and then after a year I finally couldn't listen to the songs anymore. haha We are taking a break but will every once in a while break out in one of the songs. One of the main girls....the yellow girl, Zap works at the church.....the same campus I work at so we know each other and I will take Payten to say hi and she flips out! She just loves them! A sad attempt I know, but Payten wanted her hair to be just like Zings for the concert. She loved her hair....but once I saw this picture...Payten's hair looked nothing like Zings. LOL All that matters is that I tried, right????? :)

Daddy, Payten and Brayden are walking in to the show. You can see Payten's excitement and she is READY!!!! I just have to brag on my sweet husband for a minute! He is the BEST! Always there for us and ready to play with the kids and take them to all their fun activities. He never complains about working hard all day and then having to switch hats and be a fun daddy..... I am one blessed wife and mommy!

Brayden intently watching the Super Heroes with daddy! He got to attend VBS this past summer so he likes the Super Heroes too just like sissy!

During one of the songs Payten decided that she wanted to get up and dance and so she did. There were a ton of kids dancing to the songs and she finally got up enough nerve to dance herself. She was getting with it! She was really moving! haha  Matt and I were cracking up watching her get all excited! She is too precious.

Payten and "Tongue Tied Taylor". She thinks he is pretty funny! You can never understand what he is saying.....he mumbles all the time. She finds it hilarious!

Noah's Ark Parade

The kids had their Noah's Ark Parade at school and it was so much fun! I just have to say that I am MORE than blessed that I am able to work where my kids go to school. I get to be there for everything and I love it! Every year around Halloween the kids get to dress up as any kind of animal they want and all the parents get to come and watch the kids walk around in their costumes to the cutest music ever. Payten enjoyed being the leader of the entire parade and holding the banner! She was all smiles during the parade. Mommy and all my kids were right behind her. Brayden was so funny when we were walking around in front of all the parents. He had his Nemo outfit on and was frozen stiff. Didn't move, talk, yell or anything. I think he had a little stage fright. He kept his Nemo Fins on his head the entire parade and it was hilarious because once we finished the parade he immediately pulled it off his head. It was like he knew that he could take it off. I'm sure he was thinking....."mom, I'm over it!!" hehe
Payten and Jailee were both cats for the parade. And don't they look the part! They both love to play cats and dogs at school. Ms. Alison tells me all the time that on the playground the entire class loves to crawl around and pretend they are cats and dogs. Hmmmm......wonder who starts that?? I have a pretty good guess!!!! haha  Payten is having so much fun this year in her preschool class and has so many sweet friends. If she had her way she would have school everyday!!!!

And once again.....Payten picking up Brayden! She loves to pick him up and carry him wherever she goes. Usually he will follow her but if not she just goes and picks him up and carries him. He usually doesn't mind unless she is being rough. AND you can see from the pics below that she was playing cat and tackled him to the floor. He yells for help and Mommy comes to the rescue and helps him up. Sometimes I don't and let them work it out! It's pretty entertaining I must say to watch a 5 year old and 2 year old work things out! hahaha They love each other SOOOOO much despite rough housing with each other.

My little Nemo! This outfit was PERFECT for him this year. He LOVES LOVES the movie Nemo and loves  FISH!!!! Gigi had this costume and let us borrow it for Halloween this year! So he wore it to the animal parade. He was excited to put the Nemo costume on but after about 15 minutes starting saying, "off...off....off." He was so excited that he was dressed like Nemo though.

Since the very first day of school Brayden has been obsessed with the water  fountains. They are right outside my room so before and after school he will go, fix the stool and stand up on it and drink away. The first few times he literally soaked his entire shirt and after a few times he got the hang of it and didn't miss his mouth as much.

Brayden supporting the BEST team ever!!!!!!!! GO Pokes! :) He has a million binkies but I really think he is partial to the OSU one. He loves it!

Funny.....Brayden is serious about his coloring! hahahaha He is working really hard  on his coloring page.

Payten spells FUN!

Payten is all about FUN! She is soooo happy all the time and ready to play with all her friends. She loves her friends and has a lot of them! This picture is her with her BFF Selma! They play so well together and there is never a dull moment when these two get together. They love to play dress up and house. Whenever Selma leaves Payten's room is a DISASTER ZONE....but that's okay....LOL The girls had fun and that's what counts. But as soon as Payten's friends say goodbye she has to clean up her room before she does anything else. Mommy cannot stand to look at a PIT! :) We went to a birthday party last month and I got some pics while we were there! They had a pinata and Payten enjoyed hitting at it! She gave it a few good swings.....finally candy fell from it and the kids went crazy picking up the candy off the floor. Below are some pics that I thought were cute.

Little Miss Poser! Mommy has her trained......can't you tell? hehe

Selma and Payten playing dress up! Don't they look CUTE? I sure think so!

My precious sweetie pie playing in the front yard one evening after school. She is sooo happy! I love her spirit and joy for life. She makes me SMILE!

Payten and her teddy. She loves that bear sooo much and always wants Teddy to be in the camera with her.

Payten hid Teddy in the tree and wanted me to take a picture of her so I did.....I am posting this picture for Payten. After I update the blog I always let her look at all the pics I posted.  She will laugh when she sees this picture of Teddy on the computer screen.

Payten, Ashlyn and Zenden,....neighborhood BUDDIES! They play together almost every night after school gets out. We live on a dead end street so the kids ride their bikes around and run and play and we don't have to worry about a lot of cars speeding by. We have been so blessed to have the best neighbors in the world. We are friends with all of our neighbors. There is over 20 kids that live on our street. After dinner when the weather is nice typically everyone comes out to chat and let the kids run off some energy! We will sure MISS that when we move to Midland! But I have been praying that there would be young families that live close by!

Say CHEESE! :) Payten trying to carry Brayden somewhere. I don't know what she was doing, but she does this often . They are such buddies and she will pick him up and carry him somewhere if she wants him to go where she goes. It's pretty cute! I love these silly kids!
